Fotos En Tanga De Lorena Herrera

Mirada La Sexta

Small bathroom contemporary art this morning. I was debating in my agenda.

So I turn first to the House Gongora Cordoba to visit the exhibition Cordoba, sixth perspective, coming from Brussels.

8 artists works Cordoba 8. Including some that I have for friends. Paintings, ceramic sculptures and video installations.

Luis Calvo, forero friend, is the proportion of Cordoba in his colorful and evocative vector drawing, as I said elsewhere (and do not know exactly why) reminds me of one of the projects (I think the Moneo) for (yet) "inempezado" Palace of the South of the city. Five modules of different colors that perfectly reflect not only the taste for abstraction of Islamic art, but also searching the canon of beauty by those artists. Hisae

Yanase, dear person and neighbor, once again entertained with interesting ceramics Reflection. A minimalist work that reminds us of his other as we saw at the church of La Aurora a few years ago. Interesting reflection on death and "rebirth" through their "Alma Container" that, undoubtedly, explicit and beautifully, lead us to the Roman funerary inscriptions and even previous pages of history and archeology of humanity.

Esteban Ruiz, admired artist and friend of the forum, exposes a large diptych confluence Averroes, Borges, theater, cultural diversity, the varied interpretations and our imagination. And all this in a painting matérica abundantly brought me to mind Barceló. A work to chew and enjoy.

impossible that I did not like the touch naive and graffiti from the work of Pepe Puntas . Neither happy, fragmented and realistic Otesa pop. I also have called attention to the video installations. Especially the diamond (M. Bautista), although I must clarify that the other two (D. Palacios and A. García Roldán) were not sufficiently operational at the time of my visit, due to technical problems.

Coincidentally, around the corner, I enter the Comedy Theatre where are works (mainly photo and video recordings) Pilar Collection Citoler that fortunate, and hopefully "long" enliven our city these days. There

I realized that contemporary art made in Cordoba (as seen in the Casa Góngora), has nothing to envy to what has been done elsewhere (P. Citoler library).

Yes, I missed the two exposures (possibly it is another case of professional bias) a teaching guide for school visits. And is that the battle must be waged contemporary art among our youth.
