Currently in Peru, presidential campaign, many promise the death penalty for child rapists to cause the death of his victim. By removing the bad elements, there are no facilities to keep them enclosed, life, society gets rid of something useless, not set an example of punishment, because if people away your mind off the pain, can walk on hot coals, how hard is to leave behind the fear of being punished?
But also this is assuming the typical reactive role. The death penalty is not the solution for cases of murderers or rapists. They are just symptoms of errors that are explained in today's society. But nobody wants to see, and very few do something. What will save the human animal strangled by his own hand?
